frame to cab mounts
Can I replace the bushings on the cab mounts without removing the entire cab? Mine need replaced and I was hoping I could do without much trouble.

Yes they can be replaced without removing the cab. Just take out the bolts (4) and put a little pressure on the bottom of the cab with a floor jack, remove and replace the mounts. The old ones are probably smashed down and the new ones will be thicker, so you'll have to lift the cab a little with the jack. By the way, you should replace your radiator core support bushings too. If you don't, you may have problems with your fenders wanting to shift on you which will effect you door opening. Also, since you've gone this far, you might as well replace the bed pads. I'd also loosen or replace the rad support mounts also.
Looks like I didn't read far enough. Also be prepared to cut the bolts off and replace them. I had to with 4 out of 6 on my GMC.

I kept the drivetrain. Body/bad and chassis are gone. 1981 K30, 350/465/205 dana 60 and dually 14 bolt. Has a G80, and a flat bed. Going to replace the flat bed. 1985 K20, 350/400/208 10 bolt and SF 14 bolt. I wonder where I can find some 1 tons. Hmmmmm

All the cabs that I have seen have the front cab mount bolts welded to the floor, (the large 9/16 diameter bolts). You may want to grind the welds so as to remove the bolts otherwise the cab will have to be lifted high enough to clear.
