what type springs

I've got a 72 c-10 sw and the springs have been cut. My wheels are 18's and it rides like s***. My question is with drop spindles, what size springs should I run? stock or lowered, and how low for a good ride. thanks for any advice.

Depends on how low you want to go. Most drop spindles are 2 1/2 inches. If that's all you want to go then just get spindles and find some stock springs.

Also how low is your truck now. If the springs have been cut too much then it probably will ride like crap. You aren't supposed to cut more than one coil off the stock spring.
