shine up sidewalls

Will even look better with sidewalls on tires shined up. I have used armor all but I was reading on auto detail page yesterday that that is bad and tehy recommended a couple but can't remember good ones. Hopefully someone will post.

Very nice improvement. I am a ralley guy myself.

those tires need to go away any how. they're traction rated tires like for a 4wd and i'd like to get some nice all season radials instead. i've got some eagle one tire spray i might throw on there just to make 'em look better.

It's subtle detail after subtle detail that adds up to a nice package in the end.

Good looking wheels.

I did about the same thing, but instead of paint, I had the wheels blasted, and powdercoated. It's a great look, as far as I'm concerned. I just need to source some GMC decals for the center caps, as mine have bow-ties.

Those look good. I have the same wheels on my 72, and the previous owner painted them orange to match the paint on the truck. It gives it kind of a cusstom look, yet it seems to tie the truck together. The center caps and rings are still silver.

i was thinking about that. if i do get the wheels stripped, i'm going to try and match them with the paint color. i think that looks cool! got any pics of the orange wheels?

I have rallys on mine and wouldn't change them no matter how nice the truck is. They are my favorite wheel on these trucks. If course mine are 6 lug off of a later model truck with 4x4 center caps. One day I might change them to bowtie centers since mine isn't a 4x4.

Nice job!
The rallys I had on 65 SS Chevelle where done as the same color of the car it looked pretty good that way and to change things a every now and then I would throw on the SS hub caps.

I had my wheels sprayed lime on my old truck and it looked neat after rings and caps were put on. Not a good pic, but you get the idea.
