wtt...speedwarning?
I purchased a speedwarning dash on e-bay that I soon discovered did not work, I was unable to get the speedwarning dail to move the dial. WIth my limited ability I dis-assembled the dash and discovered the cable from the dail to the dash was completely rusted. I have faith that someone out there with a factory truck tilt will wanna do some trading. I to have been told that the cable can be replaced but I have had no luck locating one?? (Of course i realize some cash to might be involved!) Just a thought

I bought the thing on a whim and really dont know a whole lot about it!! I dont believe there is a buzzer and know there is not a wiring harness.
It has the correct bezel, flex cable that is really rusty, the knob is cracked and indeed has the correct gauge with the second hand. Last edited by ap4573; 04-18-2005 at 12:50 PM. |

There is an aftermarket cable available for chevelles / camaroes that will work..its longer. There selling at about $30 from various suppliers.
I have a few of the nuts that hold the cable to the bezel if interested. Basically the back of a speedwarning should have this stuff. Note stud on back of plate...the wiring and the buzzer. |
