Power window motors..how to check?
Anybody know how to test a power window motor to see if its functional? Got a chance to get a couple from a junkyard door---but don't know if they work.....help.....

i think it is simple but you have to know what wires are for the window just touch them to pos and neg of battery good luck

The motor has two wires. Just attach them to a 12v source (many amps!) like a battery. The motor should turn. Switch the wires, and the motor should turn the other way
