Custon Comfort & apperance.
Full foam seat w/color- keyed fabric or vinyl trim, Vinyl door panels with bright upper retainers, left and right arm rests....padded, Parking brake trim cover, Cigar Lighter, Chevrolet badge on glove box door, cowl insulation, full underbody mastic coating.
Bright (or chrome) windshield trim, wing vent frames, rear window trim and control knob inserts.
Custom emblims.
Not avalible with CST or when bucket seats are ordered.
Then, hand written into the page, floor mats is added along with something I can't quite make out.

The vin won't tell you anything, and the option is listed in the glove box on the SPID lable.

The '68 C-20 'Burb I parted out had option 04Z62WD, which I found to be the 'custom comfort & apperance' package. All it has on the glove box sticker is the number, no description. This 'Burb had the 'CST' emblem on the doors, also. Had the '551 Ivory & Gold' paint code, too. To bad it was too far gone for resto.

was this option available in 67? i have the book that has several discrepencies that longhorn is talking about. in the 68 rpo section the z62 option is not even listed. maybe a new option for 68 and came with a code and a discription in 69? it is not in the 67 section either. just a thought.

I have both factory dealer data books and they both list an option package of Z62..Custom Comfort and Convenience Equipment.

They also both list the lower trim level Z61 Custom Appearance Equipment and they both list the higher level trim package Z84 CST Equipment.

Just wondering...could the Z62 option have only been on 50th's? That would help explain a few discrepincies mentioned in this thread.

nope, it was avalible on all trucks.
However, the 50th required custom or CST option package.
All the options listed above are included in the CST...and if memory serves, Custom option packages. So by listing this and CST would be redundant.
Could just be a mistake at the assembly line, or a PITA customer that insisted on having both...

WOW...great info. My 50th (elk hunter (Mark)...I love that truck more everyday...THANKS!). So 62HG is the Custom Comfort and Appearance? I do not have CST on my glove box or build sheet but CST emblems on the door. It would be fun to find a assembly line worker from Fremont or Flint that built these trucks to have an open discussion on this board.

Now about those B93 Door Edge Guards...anyone have a picture of them?
