Need a picture of a 71-72 big block engine in truck.

Hey. I know a few of you have big block trucks. I need a picture of the engine with the alternator bracket set up. I had a bracket that was messed up. Purchased another one that is different.
But i think something is missing, or the bracket i bought is for a car.
I think pics from 69-72 will work. Thanks

This pic shows the upper bracket pretty well.

Thanks. That is the bracket i bought. Is there one that goes from the back at the alternator to the manifold? There is a threaded hole on the back. Thats why i am asking. Thanks again.

No brackets attach to the back of the alternator on my '71, just top and bottom mounts as shown in the pics above.

The photo Jim shows is a 72 mount and it does have a third bracket that attaches to the head in the rear- it is not always there however- it should be a round piece of rod that serves as a brace. The 68-71 trucks did not use the same upper bracket- it looks like the bracket off of sb 283/327 trucks in 67/68.

Heres a pic of the two style..the 72 is a 3 piece set ...68-71 is 2 piece.

And I too anm looking for a 72 straight brace piece also. Any exhaust header type owners of the BB may have it stored on a shelf possibly?
