WTB: 4wd frame piece where p/s box mounts

Anybody got a trashed 4wd frame for parts? I would like to get the front drivers rail where the p/s box bolts on so I can add p/s to my 67 4wd. Shipping to 29730. Thanks, Greg

I might have one for you. How much past each side of the power steering gearbox do you want. I'll look Sunday for you. Thank's Jason

I'd like the bumper end complete, just cut it 4 inches or so past the mounting holes toward the firewall.....making it about 2 feet long approx. Thanks

Hi Greg, checked out the frame I have today and I don't think the section you need is usable. It looks tweeked, like the truck had been in a bad accident. If your frame is good, I seen another option for reenforcing it at the steering gear box that would also give you the dimple where it bolts on. You could just tack weld a shim between the 2 where your's isn't dimpled. Here's a pic I saved of that option. Jason

I have a good section where the steering box mounts. The nose is there but has been used for a plow and the spring perch is no good.

If you can use the section for the box, you can have it for the shipping costs.

How about if I cut the section about 3" beyond the bolt holes on both ends?

Will that work or do you want more?

I hate to ship you extra weight.

I don't have Paypal, sorry!

Jim

PS: Here is a pic . Cut at the chalk marks ok?
