Wiper has a set screw, shaft stays in switch. HEadlight turn the lights on then reach up under dash and feel for the button on top of the switch. Push it and pull the knob and shaft the rest of the way out. Unhook battery if your lights are gonna stay on a while.

wiper knob has a set screw on one edge....flat screw driver..a small one will get that one off

headlight switch ..well reach under the dash and get your hand up on top of the switch..there is a plunger there that you have to press down to get the shaft to slide out....truck-yoga.....lol... easy enough to do. Depress plunger and pull switch...your lights stay on a that his point..so go disconnect battery first.

hey guys, just got in from swapping clusters. and i figured it out.. didnt get any reply's so i thought i would look into it further, hard to do this in the dark. haha. but i got it. thanks for your reply's. all i did to turn the lights off was stab a little flat screw driver down in the hole and shut them off. works better then unhooking the batter.
