'82 K20 parting out
Well I really hate to do this but with the payment for the new truck and too much to do on the K5, etc. I have to get rid of this truck. I'm parting it out because I don't have a title for it. The body is in very good condition which is the reason I bought it in the first place. It only has minor surface rust with a few small bubbles here and there. The frame is pretty good as well with the only problem spot (driver's spring hanger) shown in the pics. I won't be selling the axles. If someone is interested in the whole truck I'd let it go for $700. I've got a set of 1/2 ton axles to put under it that are in OK shape and I also have the means to get a title for it. I won't be able to start pulling parts off it until around the 2nd week of May but I thought I'd post it now to see if anyone was interested. Located in Anderson, IN about 30 miles northeast of Indy. Thanks.

Dang...I wish you lived closer to Wisconsin. That truck could go a long way toward improving my '86!

I was gonna ask about the spring hanger but I see the passenger side is rusted out pretty bad. How is the drivers side? Mines rusted out on my drivers side like yours is in the picture.

I am interested in the transmission hump, door panels, and the bench seat tracks. I figure I should buy some of your stuff since you bought some of mine.

How about the front disc rotors shipped to Dallas, 75227 (If they are in good shape that is)?

I'm not real picky about what the hump is for as long as it will fit my mid 80's 2wd cab or come reasonably close. I need it to install a Hurst street super shifter and 4 speed.
The bench seat tracks I need are for a bench seat with the adjustment lever in the front instead of the side. I think it's the difference between 73-80 and 81-87. Do you need any parts for your K5? I have a tailgate band and gas tank left over from an 86 I junked last fall. Last edited by beaterC10; 04-26-2005 at 05:26 PM. |

Still have several good parts left. Cab, brake booster, dual tank switch, frame, etc.
