np 205 pricing help

i have a good used np 205 and a guy inquired locally. but i have no idea of the value. it needs gaskets and maybe seals but works good. i'm in oregon . is there a difference between 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton np 205's ? thanks keith

The difference is what trans was in front of it. If it had a TH350 in front of it then that's all that will attach to it without changing the input. As for price it will depend on if you sell it by it's self (about $100) or with adapter and shifter ($150 - $225). Hope this helps. Jason

thanks jason it finally stopped raining here so i crawled under the truck and the blazer to check it out. output shafts for drive lines are beefier on the 3/4 ton. both have t350's

I recently paid 200 for a divorced 205 w/shifter & mounts from a guy in Woodburn Oregon and I think that was a bargain. Last week a th350 to 205 adapter sold for $153 on E-bay. I was watching to see the value because I might sell one that I have. I've seen 205's in the 250-300 depending on condtion and setup.

thanks boone i was thinking 250 for all. adapter broke and has beed welded but i have wheeled it for years and no problems. but $ 200 sounds fair
