Instrument panel harness question - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Sorry, but the search is broken. Can anybody tell me what wires are on the harness that the instrument panel plugs into? I have a 72 C-20 with a factory tach and amp/temp/oil gauges. I have tried looking at the wiring diagrams in the FAQ section, and I can't really tell from them. A picture or diagram would be great. Thanks!

Yeah, that was the thing I was having a hard time figuring out. I may be wrong, but I think that's for an idiot light dash.

I never noticed it was for idiot lights before. Here is a page from GMC Pauls site that has the plug diagram. Hope this one helps. John
