stupid question, what are van tilts worth?

In my opinion it depends a lot on whether the shifter lever pin hole is worn or not. I'd say that if the pin hole is worn, it is worthless, unless you plan on using it with a floor shifter, and have the ability to remove the shifter lever attachment.

What year of van are you talking about? I have one out of a low mileage 83 Chevy Van with tilt and cruise, but wasn't sure if it fit our trucks or not.

I have seen them go for $100 quite commonly. More if they are modified and ready to go into our trucks.

The 83 column is too new to be an easy swap.
The columns to look for are the 72 - 81 and a hand full of early 82 vans too....basicly, any one with the key in the dash instead of the column.

the ones i've seen are without the key in the column. are they easy to rebuild? if you rebuilt them, how much do the rebuild kits cost? thanks.

You can get $100+ into them if you purchase the three new bearings, rubber seals (firewall and bezel), and the turn signal switch.
