at almost a year and a half later.... I finally have a latching door. now to get the 1 piece glass in and the power window lifts and the solenoids installed....

in my defense I did take a year off from the truck.

Have fun installing the window kit.
I have just finished installing mine here a a few tips.

Glue the front weatherstripping into the channel. That one area the glass could have alot of movement if not glued.

Dont peel the chrome off the front channel.(the same part you should glue the weatherstripping into.

Oh and there is a bolt that holds the rear glass channel in place. The bolt is too long and will interfear with the window operation if you have it screwed in too far. I had to cut 1/4" off so it would work smoothly.

Don't strech the window setting tape. Take your time and smack it in the channel.
I hope you have a buddie you can bring over to give you a hand installing the glass.
Or grow a extra set of arms.

Make sure you look at the inside westherstripping Fuzzie that goes inside the cab. From the door to the glass. The fuzzie is straight. The door has a dimple in for the old vent window. Make sure you shave it straight. And if you dont know what I am talking about I will try and get some pics to explain. A test fit is a good Idea before paint.
