Shipping on heads?

How much would shipping a set of sbc heads run from 66502 to 43758. These heads have springs on them. I just want to make sure my quote is the same as your figures. CAST IRON loaded.

goto freightquote.com and they will give you an instant quote for all the carriers in your area. pretty cool. I've used them 4 or 5 times with no problems.

Was at FEDEX the other day and I ran into a guy shipping heads, they were
already packaged so I do not know if they were loaded, plus I don't know to
where they were going, but I can tell you it was like $43 a piece to ship.

When I shipped a set of heads to a guy in Alabama (loaded), it was like $18 per box. I boxed them in 2 boxes, and it was a bit cheaper overall. I used UPS. Just make the box as small as you can, and double box them so they don't come out.

The 2 sets of heads I shipped were close to $50 for each head. One guy got it cheaper by signing himself up for a fedex account and having fedex pick them up from my house.
