Help! I need your knowledge and help

Gidday,
I am from New Zealand and am looking for a 2wd Blazer 77-82. I have looked in previous posts and saw some great trucks that a lot of you have for sale.
Could you please email me or post pics with prices please.I am looking for a rust free , small block V8 in good condition.
I would prefer Pacific West Coast area but for the right truck at the right price I would consider other areas , it's just I would have to factor in transports costs to Los Angeles.

I have actually found a great candidate but after reading your forum discovered that it has been converted from 4wd. I read the post last year about someone considering this. The issue I have is that is it noticeable that the vehicle was a 4wd? I mean is it a bolt in or do things need welding? The reason I ask is that the authorities here are very strict with "modification" of vehicles and I don't need any headaches. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

The other favour I need is there anyone in the Fresno or Oakland ( California )areas that could check out a couple of trucks for me. I don't mind supplying gas money if it's not too far for some people. It's hard buying a vehicle when you are 9000 miles away!!! I need someone to eyeball them for me.

Was very tempted with that 1980 2wd from Missouri? on Ebay last week. $1500 buy now hmmmm - something just didn't seem right for that price....

Look forward to hearing from you.
Clive
