Pate after action report
Anybody get anything good at Pate this year? There seemed to be alot of empty spaces. Also, it seemed like everybody there had used intake manifolds for sale, all of which had one of the holes stripped out. I never realized there was such an abundance of used intakes in the world. Anyway, the only thing I bought was a HEI including 8mm wires for $30. It's missing a rotor and a cover, but for $30 what can you do.
Anybody else?

I bought a $85 tailgate, $100 tach dash, $50 '72 big block motor mounts, and a $135 old vette/camaro wood steering wheel. Sold tons of stuff too. It was a great weekend for me.

I only bought some little stuff. But I really scored when I found a set of original 68 hubcaps for $10 to replace my totally rusted and pitted ones.

I spent the weekend with Hugger and 65streetcruiser and a few more of our buddies, we were there Wednesday through Sunday. We had spaces so they let us in Wednesday and some of the best deals are struck then. scored a nice tailgate, a super nice core support, 2 tach dashes, an intake, BB headers, and a bunch of smaller stuff. Met a guy from Shreveport that deals in trucks and parts and he had a NOS outer grill I picked up. My brother scored a set of slot mags w/ tires for 200 bucks and they are allready rolling on his V-8 powered S-10 and are in awesome shape. 65Streetcruiser picked up a lot of goodies too and also got some slots cheap. I sold everything I took and had a great time.
