4WD Warning Light
Hi,
I have a 99 Blazer LS. Right now I have a warning light on my dash - 4WD Service. Before I take it in to have it looked at, can anyone tell me what it might be? Thanks for your time. Regards, Craig

Hey Craig!
Is the ECM giving any codes? With a 99, there are a large number of things that could be at fault, and not many guys here (myself included) will know exactly what could be wrong...

I have a 2000 Blazer and mine did the same thing last fall. I figured something was stuck so I kept engaging and unengaging 4WD and even went in reverse a long distance and eventually it went off. No, problems since.

When my 2001 HD did it about a year ago. The GM dealer replace the 4WD switch on the dash and said it's common. I guess they replace quite a few of them. A friend of mine also had the same thing go bad on his 2000 Chevy 1500 4x4. Jason
