I may be behind times but don't you have to put red bulbs in these to show up? Surely you do not use standard bulbs with these?

They would look good with red LED lenses behind them. Buy a pair of 3x4 red LED marker lights at your local supplier to transport drivers. Grote (www.grote.com) in Indiana make them and I believe Dominion Auto. You will have to buy an LED flasher unit too which is about $35.00

L.E.D. Taillight Bulbs. Speedway Motors has them in the 1156 and 1157 style.1"= $8.95 each. www.SpeedwayMotors.com Red or Amber. They also have the 1 3/4" In each for $14.95 each. You will need the Replacement Turn Signal Flasher Unit as loblazer said. The L.E.D. bulbs are so efficient and uses such a small amount of power that a normal flasher will not work correctly. $9.95. Item #910-64046 (Three prong) Item #910-64045 (two prong)

Wow I like the $9.95 flasher price. I have only found those in my Street Rodding or Steet Scene books at $35.00 US

Glad I could be of some help. Hope you went ahead and had them send you one of their free catalogs. Sounds like the other Street Rodding books want a good hefty profit.
