to notch or not to notch?

i am thinking about doing a 2/1/2 inch notch on truck, where is the best place to buy the two and a half inch notch from? is it worth it? this is my daily driver and i dont plan on making it a dragger, i just want it to look sweet when layed out, i hell i think i am just goin to man up and do it, where should i order it from? will the SD one fit right?

you can build a better one on your own for less if you have access to a welder and a torch.Just cut a 6" shed.40 pipe in half, mark the location and cut it.Weld in the half pipe on both sides, box in the notch and trim off the excess pipe.If you don't have a welder and torch.....SD.

If time is money, buy the bolt-in notch. They don't cost THAT much and are pretty easy to install.

I bulid my 3" notch out of 1/4" plate. on my 99 S10 ,all under the bed. bulit it just like a 4 peice monster notch. mutch stronger than a peice of pipe welded in. or a ****ty bolt in notch.

trucks gone now. traded it for my new 83 dually, never got to take any pics.

but it was basically just like a regula notch only smaller. and gave me plenty of room with out a hole in the bed. but the dif actually bowed up the bed floor becus it was sitting on the bed then
