I just received an awesome offer for my 68 C10......

I like my old truck, but I just had someone offer me $3000.00 for my 68 chevy today after lunch. I am torn between keeping it or selling it. I guess I could always find another one, but just not as good a shape? At least I know of a couple more for sale. I only paid $500.00 for it, and had done only minor mods to it.

I have deliberated on this offer for the last several days, and he asked me about it again just today, so I set up a time for him to check it out on thursday. He is still serious about it. I think I will take this opportunity, for it may never happen again, or at least until it is restored, but I better take advantage of it before it is too late.

Well, I have decided to sell it, whilst this kind of opportunity doesn't happen ofter. It is rare to get this kind of turn around on an old truck with out investing a boat load of money into it. I set up an appointment for him to look it over today. He is really excited. There are only four other trucks, 2wd, in my area that are in better shape than mine-and they've been restored. All others are in worse shape.

Sounds like you made a great deal unless you do not find another as nice as the one you sold for any less. Mine is the only one in town of about 13,000 population. Sounds like you have more Burbs in your area.

Hardly ever see a burb around here either. My town is growing fast due to the oil boom, yet only the bigger trucks are coming in like the powerstrokes, rams, and the duramax, this makes our trucks even rarer. I may not sell it after all.
