I "just" lost my dash, parking lights, tail lights, brake lights, but I still have turn signals, headlights and flashers, the fuse for that says stop 25a was blown, it has blown before and when I got it, it had foil on it!? But when i put a fuse in it didn't fix the lights. Also the fuse that says "PNL" doesn't have power at any time, this on has the deal that you can hook up accessory light up to. Well anyway I need some help, haven't seen or smelt the wires "magic smoke" so I hope this is a good sign.

Maybe you blew a fusible link somewhere?

Time to start tracing wires!

If you post what year your truck is, then someone can probally post a wiring diagram for you

My old 77 I had in High School did that . The bed had been changed out and the taillight harness was pinched between the bed and the frame . Just something to check .Frank

when i had my exhaust re routed the guy pinched a taillight wire in one of the exhaust brackets. took out my dash and parking lights. still had brake lights and head lights, i think thats a different fuse. but ya just gotta take it somewhere or trace your wires and look for shorts.

i got rear ends and it pinched a tail light wire all i had was head lights and blinkers and i had to drive 10 miles home with no brake lights

Don't know about yours, but mine was the fusible link that comes off the starter, matter of fact both of mine were bad, replaced both links, problem solved. Hope this helps.

Well....I found the "STOP" 25A was blown, replaced it and didn't help, happeded before. But this time didn't help, but i was checking around with a test light. I did this a couple of times. I attemed to replace Headlight switch but the autozone switch wasn't absolutly correct, could have make it work, but when I half @$$ put it on the plug, it worked just the same, what wouldn't work was the knob and the dash bezel. But after the switch didn't work I check fuses and ground the top of the "STOP" fuse and lights worked. Then I moved it sideways and the lights stayed on. I also figgured out that i had a tail light out, so I put a bulb in there. Then I fixed my backup lights. The PN interlock still works, so I figgured the collum switch was good. So I pulled the plug off of the switch and ta da the lights came on. Then I put in in R and fliped the plug and wow the lights were on. Put the plug wouldn't go on all of the way. So I cut the plug the put spade termainals on drk grn to the right and lt. grn to the left. Then the lights come on in Reverse, lol.

Another fusible link... Don’t mess with the size or you could have a fire on your hands. Don’t ask me how I know.
