torque specs?
does anybody out there know what to torque bb heads down to? i went to mortec.com and i checked my haynes manual but i couldn't find anything. i'm guessing its around 80 but would like to know for sure. thanks for any replies

Actually I found some better ones, has different specs for different size bolts, musta changed over the years.

hmmm, that looks like some good info, i wonder how much of a difference in between each bolts torque you can have before it becomes an issue, i used that arp moly lube on mine only cause i vaguely remember my h.s. shop teacher saying something about never torque bolts down dry... thanks again.

ohhh almost forgot, i think the long and short taht he's talking about is the 4 bolts that go under the exh. ports are probably half as long as the ones the go under the valve covers and above the exhuast ports
