questions about codes
I finally joined this sight after looking at it for a couple of years. I have a 77 Chevy Silverado C-10. It was originally blue but now is a very ugly orange. Anybody in the havelock, nc area has probably seen. It needs some work, but as soon as the money comes it will be done. I found the option list or whatever it is really called still in my trucks glove box and was wondering where i could go to look them up to see what exactly they were or maybe even what they looked like maybe. it lists all of the special equipment that came on it. thanks in advance for help. Jimmy

You can look up info on getting a restoration packet from GM here:
http://www.73-87.com/7387info/7387info_packets.htm This explains the trim levels: http://www.73-87.com/7387info/7387trimlev.htm This tells you what the option codes in the glovebox mean: http://www.73-87.com/chevy_ids/rpomenu2.htm You can view the original brochures here: http://www.tocmp.com/brochures/GMTrucks/1977/index.htm That ought to keep you busy for a while.
