How to lower with rear leafs

What is the best way to lower my truck in the rear with a leaf spring suspension setup? I am looking at 4 inches in the rear of 65 GMC swb fleetside. Also, any photos of such?

It shouldnt have much affect on the load capacity. You are just putting the rear end on top of the leaf instead of under it. The leafs capacity remains the same. You will have to have some type of notch in the frame to keep some clearance though. Also you need to run a lowered shock. Shackles and hanger are a good way to go and if you get a set of drop leafs that are at least a 3 leaf pack then you will be good with those. If you want to haul anything.

is it fairly simple to do with shackles? Also, I have 15x10's with 295 50 15's, will it accept much of a drop on my 65 without changing my new tires and the wheels?
