have a silly ? re:power steering hose

if you are looking at the back of the pump on a 72 with a bb. which hose is the pressure hose? is it the one on the right which is a little higher up then the one on the left?

reason why i ask is mine has a hole in it and i thought it was the pressure one because it leaks when you turn the wheel, but all the pressure ones i have seen look quite a bit different than the one i have on there and dont look like they will work on my application. they have way too many curves. mine looks like it comes out strait then the rubber part curves back and goes into the steel line which runs down the frame and under the pump then curves towards the drivers side then makes a 90 down into the box (or what ever that thing is called where the power sterring lines hook in)

just thought of another question. since i cant seem to find the right hose yet, can i just do a temp patch on it with some high pressure rubber hose. like some fuel hose or something untill i can get the proper hose?

I Don't Think The Patch Will Work. Lots Of Pressure Will Cause A Major Leak.. I'd Wait To Get A Hose.. You Could Take It Up For Fitment.. Discount Auto Will Keep Tak'n Em Back. Just Keep Trying Different Hoses For Similiar Models.
