Newly Installed Instrument Panel not Working
I recently ran power to my cab and my instrument panel is not working correctly. The right blinker light stays on and the fuel gause slowly moved to fuel even though the tank is almost empty. It kind of acts like a grounding issue. I checked the ground cable for the instrument panel and rehooked it up, but no changes.
Has anyone had this problem before. I plan to tear into it soon and use the wiring diagram provided by another member and hopefully figure it out. Any advice would be appreciated. Jason |

Mine had the same problem when I hooked it up after installing a tach. Once I attached the oil pressure line it grounded the cluster and the problem was gone.

Make sure that your cab has a good ground to your engine and frame. For a quick check, attach jumper cables between them. Also, if you changed from a 3 hole cluster to a 7 hole cluster, make sure to change the harness too. They are different, but you probably know that.

Wiper motor works
Not sure this matters, but the wiper motor works. Not sure if the wiper motor relys on grounding to the cab or is grounded via the wiring harness.
