whats up you all!!!
Sorry its been awhile, been running around and stuff like crazy...end of classes and moving a few things back to San Antonio for part of the summer.
AI am currently awaiting the arrival of my rebuilt 307 from the machine shop. I have started collecting all the odds and ends.....water pump fuel pump oil pan harmonic balancer blah blah blah oh yeah I also scored a 4000lb engine hoist for $100!!!! What a great deal!!!! I wont need it all the time probably not for a while but it was too good a deal to pass up. it works great!!! I am very excited about getting my 307 in.....this is the first time I've done ALL the work on the engine install, minus the rebuild. I am looking forward to all this work, and I'm gonna try to take some pics!!!!! CHEVY RED ORANGE AND CHROMED 307 (it makes it faster )

Good to see you again, I know how hectic things can get. I constantly have to fight for time to work on my truck. Keep us posted on the install.

Glad to hear from you. It sure is tough sometimes to fit the trucks in, but I keep telling my wife, I'll have it the way I want it before I die.........................maybe.

Anxious to hear about the 307 install, too. I think mine is headed that way soon. Did you have it rebuilt in San Marcos?

HEy thanks guys...I dindn't know I was missed!!!
Truckin daddy, I am having the motor rebuilt at City Motor Supply in San Antonio. They do not stock 307s, so they offered to rebuild mine for me with the "Premium Plus Long Block" package which is a long block ready to put in and fire up minus pans, covers and intake. Comes with an oil pump and a gaskets set. Rear main seal already installed. $897 plus tax I think, 2 yr/24,000 mile warranty. Pretty good deal I think. I dropped it off last week on thursday and anxuiosly awaiting its arrival on thursday. They send it off to Dallas, were they are rebuilt.

Cool. Thanks for the info. After sitting for 12 years, I bet a rebuild is in my future. Doubt I would go to SA, but that will give me a start for finding something up here.
