fuel question

i know on a gas operated carbed motor if you smell gas in the oil chances are its the fuel pump that is bad. On a fuel injected truck ( 87 350 with EFI) if ya smell gas in the oil what do you look for? Im assuming that has the in tank electric pump or one mounted on the frame rails?

from one smartass to another, at least know what you're talking about before you post.

Bob, i would look at the spray pattern on the injectors (dirty or stuck injectors), run a leakdown test on the engine (possibly bad rings), and check for vac leaks, specifically at the intake manifold.
