Is there anything special about a High Sierra?
I have a High Sierra and everytime i look for parts or badges i cannot find them anywhere. Is this a common or rare package? what should it include?

High Sierra was one of the very top trim levels if I recall right...
There is more information about what the High Sierra package had in it at www.73-87.com

I dont think High Sierras are really rare, I have one(parts truck) and a friend of mine has one and ive seen a couple around town.
On the other hand the only Royal Sierra Ive ever seen is the one sitting in my back yard...

My '85 is a High Sierra and it all seem to be about the trim. It has no A/C, Manual Trans, manual windows, manual locks, smaller engine (305). I don't think they're rare.

The GMC High Sierra is the equivalent to the Chevy Cheyenne/Scottsdale. Not rare at all, just a trim level.

As far as the GMC Royal Sierra (and Chevrolet Bonanza) they were special marketing packages. They combined options at a special price to help sell more trucks. As special and 'Royal' as the Royal Sierra sounds, the Sierra Classic was still the highest trim level in the years they were both offered.
