Carbs! Carbs! Carbs!

I have a 600CFM Holley 1850-1 electric choke that appears in good shape. According to the paperwork, it was manufactured in 1988.

It has the original paperwork and box. The pics make the finish look worse than it is...it's really just dusty/dirty factory finish.

The other two are Quadrajets...the first is part #17085212 and the second is 17085003. I don't know what those came off of, and any help identifying them is appreciated. They are partially disassembled, but look to have all the parts.

I'll sell however you want...all 3, just one of them, just the two Quadrajets, etc. I wanted to give dibs before they go to ebay. Looking for $25 for the Holley, and $25 for the Quadrajets together. Otherwise, make an offer. Thanks for looking. My email is excelsiorfleet at yahoo.com.

Sorry, but no idea. This was a package deal with the '77 Silverado I just bought. I would guess they've been on a shelf for more than 10 years. They would at least need a minor rebuild on them to be functional.

Shipping in the original box, the UPS.com estimate I got was about $13-15 UPS ground. Just to be on the fair side, I'd go $35 shipped to your zip code. I prefer Paypal if possible, but I'm flexible.

Sounds like a deal to me. PM me with all your particulars (address, paypal address, etc. ) and we'll see about getting this taken care of.

Thanks,
Marc

What do you mean they are partially disassembled? I can see some from the pictures but not much. Could you send me some more pictures of the two quadrajet carbs? My email address is mylilbowtie@aol.com

Well, I guess my wording was a little off...they have some parts that aren't attached, and I know that they're missing the long bolts that go through the body of the carb. There were two in the box. It looks like I may be missing the other two bolts. Other than that, what is pictured is what I'm selling. I wish I could be more precise, but I haven't opened them up. Oh, and I'm in the Houston, Texas area.

For both Quadrajets, it's about the same whether I ship in one bigger box, or two smaller ones. Shipping should be about $15-20 UPS ground either way (carbs do have some weight to them!). So, how about $40 shipped? I just have to find either one more box, or a box to fit them both in.

That first carb is not a 1850-1. A 1850-1 Holley is a square bore. Matt

You know, I didn't even look at it that hard, it was just in a Holley box that said 1850 on it. I'm going to actually look at the carb and see what is is then. I got all three thrown in with a bunch of parts when I bought my truck.

Quadrajets are sold.

The Holley is, in fact, a 650cfm spread-bore model 9895 that fits on a Quadrajet manifold, like the bottom one of this group:

http://store.summitracing.com/defaul...=400178+303834

Since the Holley isn't what I originally said it was, those who stepped up calling dibs will still get their shot. The dibs line is in this order, from those that posted, and those that PMd me:

76HighSierra
86swb
patgizz
rage'nrat638

I'll reply when I hear from 76HighSierra.

I want to couse problems for you guys. I get lots of carbs but I dont sell them, I use them for parts when I do rebuilds for shops here in AZ. There isnt any one that wants to work on them so theres a high demand for people who can. Matt

Thanks for the payment, and thanks to all that inquired. I always try to be as fair as possible, as I find myself on the buying end frequently and would want the seller to do the same.
