Q?:How to remove slip yoke/NP241
On my`90 Blazer I`m replacing the u-joints in the rear driveshaft.I`ve never messed with the slip-yokes before.Do they just slide out?Or,is there a retainer inside the tail-housing,requiring removal of the tail-housing?

You know,it`s funny. Now that I went through it,I`m pretty sure I`ve been here before on another vehichle. This was my`90 Blazer, needed u-joints at 180,000mi.What a p.o.s.(sarcasm).We bought it new,so I know they were original.Anyway,I`m just so familiar with the NP205,but when I have to work on something else,I`m a little uncertain.I didn`t have a manual handy, although when I bought the truck I also bought the Helm book(s).That`s right, three books. Two for scematics,a bit intimidating for me.Well, now I need it,can`t find it.It`s cool I can just wash my hands, get on this site, ask my question, sip an ice tea, check around the site, come back, and I have an answer. Thanks alot,U-joints are in.I anticipated the fluid and raised the rear. That only let a drip out with the yoke.
