ID # Question

Trucks I've owned in the past had 2 letters ce or cs and then numbers in the ID. This 72 I just bought starts with 3 letters cce. What's the 1st c for ?

Chevrolet
If it was a GMC, it'd be a T.
1972 only. (at least, the only year in this generation of truck)
