Vacuum guage ?
How useful and accurate is the vacuum guage option for these trucks. For those that have them, where is it connected and what are you monitoring with it. If you had a choice between a clock and vacuum guage in that spot what would you prefer?

I have been running after market vacuum gauges since I got the truck in '82. It shows you how well your engine is running. To get the best fuel economy keeping your foot on the pedal just enough to keep your speed but get the highest vacuum you can. It can show bad valves, bad timming, blocked exhaust and a few more things. I hook mine up to the full manifold port on the carb.
