Looks like junk to me. Notice the left one in the picture has been pulled on real hard and it sprung the curve out of it.

Randy (teeitup), I see you are high bidder, lets hope some one out bids you on these.

I wonder what they will sell for?

Don't let me stop you from buying a pig in a poke. I sure won't spend my money on those, I was just trying to point out my observation and save you from spending a fortune on something you may not have noticed. I'm sorry for trying to be a friend...............

I think they are not as badly bent as they appear in the picture. If you notice the one on the left is rotated to the left and the one on the right is rotated to the right.

Also I think they would be darn near impossible to bend. The frame would bend first.

Does anybody happen to know the length of the factory bolts.

Thanks in advance
Jason

From the tip of the bolt head to tip of the thread shank, my 72 only hooks have bolts that are 2 7/8"

I doubt they are bent at all, I think it's all the lens perspective of the camera. Notice how the flash is hitting flat on the left hook and only on the left edge of the right one? Like Jay_Shy said, I can't imagine the force it would take to bend one of those things!

PICS are very deceiving just like eye witnesses! No two are alike just like no two camera angles taking the same photos.

No problem Randy, I gotta notice the smile with winking eye. Maybe the photos are showing an optical illusion... maybe not.

Ok, let me get this right.
72 tow hooks both curve the same direction, while 71 tow hooks both curve towards the inside?

Is the curvature the only difference? Or were the 72 hooks stronger as well?

Todd

I dont know where this "72 only hooks" has become to have people think that the 69-72 hooks are 69-71....there the same style hooks 69-72..and 72 had a second style with that bend. You can bend even these tow hooks with heat, believe me.
I've seen them bent in wrecks too...there not indestructible.
