Couple of questions about FI
Is there anyone out there that makes a direct bolt-on Fuel Injection (maybe TPI) kit for my mostly stock 350 engine in my '72 blazer? Like maybe something that will bolt directly to my edelbrock manifold? I know of the TPI's out of a 2nd gen. Camaro, but it looks too complicated to me. I am not very familiar with FI as I have always owned this vintage of truck all my life.
Does anyone in the United States make a Propane fuel conversion kit for carburated motors? |

Just buy a new crate motor with FI. I think Edelbrock makes a bolt on system.

I will move this to the engine section, it is more likely to get more response there.

TPI takes a TPI manifold. To use Your manifold You would need to run TBI{throttle body injection}.Holley makes a TBI set up.Also check this site out....

Yeah, if you want to use your current intake, you'll need to run a TBI setup.
You can either use a 4 barrel TBI setup that was found on the 454 big block engines in the early 90s, or you will have to go aftermarket. Either way you go, you will need to install a few sensors onto your engine such as a knock sensor, MAP sensor, oil pressure switch, coolant temperature sensor, etc If you run with an aftermarket setup, you'll likely pay more, but you will have the ability to directly reprogram the computer, and will likely start with a chip that will be pretty close to what you need to run your 350, based upon the info you give the company. If you go with a stock 4 barrel TBI setup, you'll likely pay a bit less, but you will need to send off for chips to be made.
