I have three different articles on my site.

One is Mikes, one is mine, and the other is one I found in an older Four Wheeler Magazine...check them out.

Good one Jeff

If I was going to customize my interior or had enough engine to warrant the additional gauges, I'd go for that Truckin Mag article. I still might.

Todd, good luck with that if you decide to tackle it. If you do, I would love to see the pics and hear how it went.

When I saw that article, I was pretty impressed...never seen that done before.

the only thing I didn't like was cutting up that dash. Must be cause my cheap self has been looking for a nice, crack free dash for quite a while. They don't seem to exist in my area anymore.

Cuttin' a dash

Clean dash pads are harder to find than hen's teeth. If I'd go through the effort, I'd have to buy a new one and cut that. The biggest thing holding me back is that I want the truck to look stock. (Believe that? It's because I'm chicken.)

I have been loking for an 81-up dash. I have a near perfect bezel, and 87 door panels, so I figured I would go that way.

I don't think a Finnish dash looks any different than ours...there is a Scandinavian board member on here, you can ask him.

This doesn't belong on the parts board, and yes I am being sarcastic.
