I think he wanted some actual times from people who raced their trucks, I know mines not the fastes on the board by any stretch but as of when I am posting this, no one else has posted a time.

14.09 at 96mph, daily driven for 3 years, built on a high school budget.

All my times are 1/8 mile. They are in my signature. It's not the fastest here, but it's still alot of fun to race it.

Not the fastest I'm sure but I cracked the 12 second zone yesterday.Ran a12.98 best mph 101.64. There were at least two of our trucks faster than mine at the track, one running mid 10s.I am staying just a bit faster than a couple of guys with ford lighntings there running 13.00 with just a chip change. I run a 383 rpm heads, manifold,750 holley,10.4 comp. lunati cam, 2800 stall, 4.57 gears and slicks.

id rather post my times after i improve them a bit but my best 1/4 mile time is a 15.2 @ 90 mph.... not bad but not great either but have only run it twice with the new engine.... just trying to get the darn thing to hook up now.... ill post again once i get it back out to the track.... might be a month though.... going to throw some more money at the thing as usual.... i hope i can drop a half second or more off that time.... there are two 72 pickups that run low 13s at the strip.... havent seen anything faster than that though

My slow ET and speed are below my avatar, heh. Nearly stock engine, with a cheap dual exhaust, HEI, K&N air filter, and a mild 260H cam, through a TH400 and 3.73 gears.

I'm slowly but surely working on getting it into the fifteens...but you know, the quest never stops!

First, it was the 17s (okay, got that later in the first night I took it out, lol...but the first run or two were 18s, yech) and then the 16s (which took a while but I got it there and now I'm almost out)

Soon we'll see what a 700R4 does to the ET and speed, and then what an Edelbrock Performer intake does. Hehe.

chevyhouse, this year I have been going once a month. Jax Raceway has truck night the 2nd tuesday of every month. You should run your truck. It's only $10 for trucks to run on truck night.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
