Mods needed to fit 315's??

A friend of mine has a set of 315 75R16's on AFX wheels for sale, but I can tell that they will not fit on my '85 K20. Will an add-a-leaf suffice, or will I need more lift and some fender trimming so they will fit?
Thanks.

Either trim the fenders to fit, or at least 4" lift. My old truck had 6" with 35s, and they would rub when flexing.

I run 35s (equivalent to 315s) with a 4" suspension lift and my tires rub the fenders WAY too much. Even pulling into a parking lot that has a raised curb fast enough can cause a nasty sounding tire vs. fender impact. I'm hoping to alleviate that w/ the 3" body lift I'm installing this weekend. Fender trimming would have worked too, but hey... it's kind of an excuse to get a couple more inches of lift. Anyway, in my semi-worthless opinion, 35s (or 315s) work well with a 6" lift or a 4" lift w/ fender trimming. Good Luck.
