Talking A Hello From Oregon

Hey everyone...

I just purchased a 1986 chevy silverado K10. im 17, and had just started getting into the offroading community, and soon realized that an xterra just doesnt cut it here in my parts! my chevy currently has a 6" lift with 35" BFG MT's. it has the 700 R4 tranny(which is looking really good right now with these gas prices!). hope to learn a ton, and annoy you guys some more later.

Aloha

There's quite a few of us from this state. Couldn't tell ya how many around Bend though. Whadya mean boring? We always have our trucks to work on.
Now I have to ask, what's China hat?

Now I'm an old far# with a kid your same age. He's putting together a 68 Cutlass S.

china hat is a road that runs through almost half of oregon(starting in bend, ending in the southern region somewhere)...i guess you would have to be from the central oregon area to really know what it is, i guess it wasnt as popular as i thought. good luck to your son and his car. sounds awesome.

Welcome. I'm from the other "bend" on the Oregon coast - North Bend. We used to go to Sun River when I was in College at OSU.

My '72 is from your area. There are several board members in your area. Please add your location to your user profile (click on user CP near the top of the page). Someone might live right around the corner from you and may have missed this post.
