67 sheetmetal part on 68

So, i have a 68 cab, with 69 qtrs, hood & what's left of the front grill (purchased this way). Since i've gotten no takers on the 67 i'm needing to get rid of, i'm looking at swapping the front qtrs, hood & grill onto my 68 cab. Is there anything that i need to be worried about as far as things fitting and lining up? From what I can figure, it should be a bolt-on issue.

You say quarters,do You mean Fenders? You need the 67-68 radiator support, fenders hood and grill. If it has 69 fenders on it now,You need to use the whole front clip from the 67.This is assuming You are refering to a chevy.

So how do I tell if I've got at 68 radiator support, or a 69? Right now, as best as I can tell, I've got 69 fenders. I know what remains of the front grill is 69, and the hood is 69 & up... The radiator support should be 68 (?), because my headlights don't sit centered in the openings of the grill...

A 67 or 68 chevy radiator support will have a series of nuts welded to the rad support across its bottom front edge whereas a 69-72 will not. This is because 67/68 trucks had a valance piece that filled in the area between the lower part of the grill and the lower front edge of the rad support. These nuts accomodated the bolts that held the valance in place.
