I haven't bolted mine up yet, but am using a third brake/cargo light off a 94 Chevy truck on my 72. It requires modification (cutting) the back of the cab. It's going to be tight but it'll work. Here's a picture of the hole in the cab. For some reason the picture won't upload

www.Superbrightled.com has led lights that will fit in the regular socket and are quite bright. Thats what I have. I then just tapped into the brake switch wire and it works great.

I have the one from earlyclassic...tiz expensive, but it fits perfectly and works. Only thing, I think it should be "glass coated/sealed" to keep the elements from attacking the traces. This wont happen overnight, but will over time. I started pricing out LEDs that are bright enough for the application, and they start to add up quickly, plus you still need to make a pcb (printed circuit board) So all said and done, the earlyclassic version is a quality piece. I hooked up the brake switch to the 3rd brake part of it, and the door switch to the cargo light part of it, so it operates like a new truck.
