Window Sticker?
Anyone have a complete window sticker for their '71 truck? I'll pay postage and time and trouble for a copy. I only have the lower part of mine left and I need to either reproduce one using another as a guidline, or find a blank form. any help would be appreciated.
Heres whats left of mine.

Sillyoldman ; You may be able to find a complete build sheet under or behind the seat tucked in the springs , that is where some of us have found them.

CG! Dude! I cannot believe what you posted! And in such beautiful condition! Hang on to it!
In all the years here, all the posts, all the literature, I have NEVER seen anyone confirm or suggest that a WINDOW sticker was in existence for our Chevy trucks, moreless post one! Only a few weeks ago I stumbled along a reproduction of the Window Sticker, but it doesn't say it is for Chevy trucks (nor cars) and got to wondering. Check it out, it appears to be exactly like yours! http://greenwoodchevy.com/Merchant2/..._Code=GCGPPEDH dtlilly is right, the top is the Build Sheet commonly stuck in the seat springs or near the cab gas tank. Oh you just made my day! CG, could you post or e-mail pictures of the matching glove box options sticker before you sell it off? Thanks, roger0080@netscape.net Wow!

Cool...first invoice I have seen! Save or copy it for sure. I thought I had just about every piece of paper with my Longhorn but I don't have that one. I do have another that I have not seen however...the dealer inspection sheet. I am going to have to go back to the original owner and see if he has the invoice...he seemed to have everything else...LOL!

http://www.window-sticker.com/index.htm is a good site for car stickers, but no luck on the truck.
I ordered a blank one from Rogers link. I think with a bit of research on option and base prices I should be able to get fairly accurate. Im going to my first show july 10th, and thought it be a neat touch to my stock pickup. Build sheet under seat? Hmmm that would explain the rusty marks on that funny folded paper. THANKS, ill go look.

i think i have every bit of paperwork that came with the burb somewhere. i dont have a pic of the glove box sticker. as soon as my brother gives my camera back i'll take a shot of it. it has some large black felt pen writing on it ...and like i said don't know if that is a window sticker. it looks the style but if i remember correctly it doesnt have any old stickem on there. unfortunatly i stashed all the old paperwork somewhere for safe keeping and its so safe i dont remember where its at

CG, how a pic of the build sheet to if you have it
I am really curious if the number shown on the Window Sticker of yours, 284398, is the same that is printed on the top of the Option Sticker, and the same as the number on the Build Sheet (if you have it). I wonder if that is the order number? There isn't too many people that have all the paperwork nowdays to verify anything like this....
