There are 3 pieces total for the chrome. The small piece in the very center below the rear window, and 2 long pieces that curve around the cab on one end.

There are studs coming from the cab that have little plastic clips that the chrome slides on to. I started sliding the chrome piece back from the corner of the door window. Do this slowly and carefully. Once you clear the corner clips, you then pull the chrome, sliding it away from the center chrome piece. Keep sliding, until the chrome is off. Repeat same on other side of truck. The center middle chrome piece has a single stud and plastic clip under it, and you can decide to slide it off either direction. Reverse procedure to re-install.

Yup. Did mine the same way. Carefully pry the wrap around part from the plastic clip. Then simply slide them off. Keep the plastic clips for reinstallation. Are you getting rid of the trim completely? There are metal studs attatched to the cab that you would have to grind off. Definatley some body work to do.

Just a quick question, How long can you stay under with such a large scuba tank? Just kidding I'm
