Dilemma

Any of you ever finish a project and then it`s like.." OK, now what do I do ? "
Don`t get me wrong, I love the blazer, but it`s like the chase is over.
Do I start a new project ? Sell it and start over ? Hell, I used to be this way with women when I was younger.

IMHO, they are never finished, there is always something that can be,
fixed, replaced, updated, reworked, improved, touched up, etc....

Just give me your blazer and you can have my '69. Sounds like a fair swap to me

If I ever finish a project, I'll see if I feel the same way...

I don`t think anyone on here would want to pay what I would take for it...LOL.
I might try E-bay with a reserve to see what I could get offered.

Yeah, I know what your saying...
I felt the same way when I finished my 71 but didn't sell it, just bought more!!

No really, having at least one that's a 'turn key' finished driver when ever you decide to go for a ride is the way to go.
Keep it as is and enjoy it! Drive it and show off your work, you'll be glad you kept it.

Now go out and find another project to start on, you'll find thing's will change with the second build...
Thing's like, yeah I shoulda done it this way before...or like that...yeah that's what I like.

I'd keep it until you are at least in a drivable stage of the next project. At a minimum, drive it and enjoy it this summer. Take it to a few shows. Brag. Gloat. Let everyone know it is yours.

The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence! I think as soon as it's gone you will realize what a rare gem you had in the palm of your hand.
The way I see it you can not put a price on that Beautiful Blazer I see on E-Bay, Your blood, sweat, and tears not to mention patience and time went into the building of that American Dream. Priceless, Truly Priceless.....

Yep, just like women. Great to have more then one available --in different stages of restoration or variations. Tough when you get too committed to one----then you are always looking at them other one's on the other side of the fence! Yep, just like women.

There is another 72 I have been watching that has not moved for the last 12 years around the corner from me. I have left a note a couple of times asking if it was for sale so I will keep after him.

Bret, isn't this your Blazer? Is this the guy you sold it to?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...556167615&rd=1

What's up with that, he doesn't like it or wants to make a few bucks?

I got a message that he wanted to sell it due to financial reasons. Something must have come up real quick since he has only had it a few days. He seemed to be in love with it and said he was "keeping it forever".

Hi guys I am the person that bought Team Harvey's Blazer I just want you all to know that I am not trying to make a profit on it. If anyone want to buy it for $500 less than I paid for it you are welcome to. I really do have a financial situation that I have to take care of. I want to let you all know that if it sells or not that I will be on this forum looking for advise, I have three other Blazer projects.

Sorry to hear you have to sell so quickly. That is one nice Blazer! Glad to see you found you're way over to this board. If you are interested or own classic chevy trucks, this is the site!

Make sure you tell the new owner about this site too.

Hi, it ran great down the freeway at about 65 mph. I got about 10 miles to the gallon. The only thing that happened is the fuel filter plugged up and I had to change it. Yesterday I fixed the right rear axle seal, and put new brakes on it. Today I am going to change the gas tank. Everything should be good. It looks like I will probable be keeping it, everyone on ebay just want to pick it apart. Screw them it is a great truck.
