82c10, you need to let us know what it is you want and did you try to attach a picture like 86GMC asked? What you have on here does not give enough information for a good answer.

If it's a factory intake it'll have a 6 or 7-digit casting number and a casting date; the date'll probably be letter-number-number like B 16 7 or something similar. The combination of the casting number and date will make it pretty easy to identify.

sorry, i wasn't feelin to good, i thought i put it in there, my question was a bout the edelbrock scorpion intake, somehow the name must have gotten erased

You proberly had a senior moment. I know I do at times. I have the performer. Not sure about the scorpion intake. I am sure someone has info on this intake for you.

Edelbrock Scorpion manifolds first appeared in the early to mid-1970's, if I remember correctly.

They are single plane, high rise manifolds similar to a Victor Junior today. They were designed for upper RPM horsepower, so they aren't a street manifold at all.

They were available for all popular applications i.e. small and big block Chevrolet, etc.

I'd estimate the RPM range to be 3500 to 7000 or so, depending on application.

This is all from memory. The next step down (as it were) was the Tarantula series of manifold (moderate street/race), and below that was the SP2-P, which is a street manifold similar to today's Performer.

Hopefully someone else can be more specific for you.
