how much do you want spend ?

there alot of truck up here in nor cal i found mine for 4500 1970 gmc 350 3 spd with desent paint job just needed front end work upper and lower ball joints but i went ahead and replace just about everything on the f.e
but theres some real nice trucks around here for 10 to 12 k turnkey
and alot of 2k to 7k that needs some type of work done to them but body and rust free that was the big seller on mine i got under the truck and didnt see any rust on the floorboards or bed i did find some on the step side
but overall california and az trucks are pretty much rust free just inspect them closely

I want to spend $5000-$7500.

It does need paint, primer is fine as long as the body work is done.

I hope the engine compartment is done,(black paint is cool)

I dont want to spend to much more, because im taking a loan out to do this.

thanks alot

71 short fleet

My brother has a 71 short fleet, 95% of all the bidy work is complete (he is an estimate writer at a body shop) the truck has honestly zero rust, front has been swapped to 68 sheet metal and bed metal floor has very little dings. decent stereo system, billet steering wheel, newer chevy seat, all front end parts replaced, 17" eagle wheels, new carpet, 3 speed, with a 355 SBC pretty healthy motor, aluminum radiator and etc....

located in Ukiah Ca, northern Cali.

if i get a chance I will post some pics, its ben raining.
he is asking 7k
