Question Short Coil?

Try and post this again since I didnt get much help last time, but thanks for posting responses to those of you that did. I am wondering if GM ever made any swb trucks with the coil suspension with the control arms. I have a 70 Chevy lwb with the coil set up with controls that go from the axle to the crossmember where the carrier bearing is positioned. What I am wanting to do if possible, is cut the frame and modify the suspension to make it a swb. Any help is greatly appreciated, I'm a bit new to the customizing of trucks, so hang in there with me.

I am assuming by Your board name that You have a 72? Yes, most of these trucks had coils. The arms and coils are the same, swb or lwb. Here is a thread on cutting the frame. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s....php3?t=123624
