Welcome to the board from Wisconsin!

A tilt wheel from a 69-72 truck will be a direct replacement (plug and play).

Any tilt from a truck newer than 1972 will have the ignition key in the column, and have you running wild to convert wiring, etc. A van tilt is a popular conversion, but it will require cutting the output shaft and doing other types of custom engineering.

69-72 truck tilts will fit any 67-72 trucks. The automatic tilts run $200+, and manual shift tilts run $300+. Converted van tilts run $100+

Seen it done on a 4-speed truck, he left the key in the dash and just used the signals. Also seen when guy's have cleaned up the key area filled and smoothed it.

Would be alot easier if you found a Van tilt. I just installed mine without any cutting in my 70GMC. The one I used came from a 78 Chevy Van, with key in the dash. Only 2 mods you have to do. One is collapse the outer steering arm, that's the one connected to the steering box, and relocate the neutral safety switch. I bought a "Lokar" switch that mounts on my transmission pan. The following thread helped me......
