Both my 71 and my 72 are round with a red light. My grandpa bought his 69 brand new and still has it. His is the same way. Hope this helps.

The Longhorn (a 70 ) has red circular.
An old frioend in Tx had a blue rectangle in his '72 Siera Grande.

a poll, hmmmmm
if i liked polls this one would be one already cept id ask what color your high beam indicator is, but that would be a dead poll, or unless everyone wanted to be same, except for longhornmails old friend and his blue one

mine has two round and are supposed to be red. came out of a 68 Truck though. I put the red covers on my blinkers and a green one on my high beam.

All four of mine have the original speedos in them. The '68 AND '69 have rectangular. Both of the '72s have round. Don't know when they went to round, but I know it wasn't in '69.

Hmmm, this is odd. Where would he get a blue cover for the light? It was the proper shape/size ...everything.
Oh well. He fooled me I guess.
